Them having these genes means that humans can have genes that lend themselves to higher fat diets.

The research doesn’t mean I don’t have genes that may do the same or similar.

Hell, I actually know I have genes that give me better ability to use fats. My copy of the APOE gene means I can consume saturated fats like butter and coconut oil without raising my blood cholesterol like those would affect others.

My point here is that we already know genes exist that lend themselves to high fat consumption, so how can we call the keto diet “unnatural” in general?

Unnatural for who?

Of course it may not be for everyone. But to say it’s for no one? I disagree.

Furthermore I don’t even recommend a strict ketogenic diet. If you read my article, you see that I recommend carb redress and many other techniques to improve the odds that keto is of benefit.
