My father is a software developer and discus thrower. The world he works in is a major influence on why I wrote this, and to be honest, I had programmers in mind particularly. Grease the groove is just awesome because you can casually get really freaking strong while also counteracting stagnation. Always wanted to be able to do 20 pullups? No prob, get a basic door-frame pullup bar for your office, and do 1 pullup every half hour.

Don’t think of it as pull up training, just a way to break your stagnation from sitting. Every 2 weeks, test your max reps and apply the rules we mentioned earlier to decide how many reps to do every half hour.

Then one day you can magically do 20+ pullups. You feel like a badass and you’ve counteracted the negative effects of sitting too much.
